    Phelan Green reports investment approval for its Saldanha Bay e-SAF project

    Global e-Fuels reports that Phelan Green reached final investment decision for its Saldanha Bay e-SAF project, with Johnson Matthey and Honeywell technologies. Initial output is planned at about 35,000 tonnes annually. Construction is expected in early 2027 and first exports in 2029. South Africa’s presidency corroborates the investment milestone; construction and export dates remain future targets.
