Guangzhou Port completes first green methanol bunkering for a vehicle carrier at Nansha
The methanol dual-fuel vehicle carrier Guang Rong received 2,300 tonnes of methanol at Guangzhou Port's Nansha automobile terminal, including 1,400 tonnes of bonded green methanol, before loading more than 4,000 new-energy vehicles for Europe. Guangzhou Port said the operation made it the first port to provide green methanol bunkering for container ships, bulk carriers and vehicle carriers.
